• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Where do things live in FSX data???

I have all but stopped production on my NKL project until I can figure this problem out. I know I have mentioned it in other posts, but thought I would get it into its OWN post so maybe people ignoring the other posts may see it. :)

Where, in fsx's vast array of crap files, is the program pulling information about airports that it uses when speaking, when putting text into the ATC window, etc....????

ATIS finally says Holley Regional, as do other planes when calling Ground. "Holley Regional Ground" Funny, though, when I call ground, it is just GROUND. doh!!!!!

However, it is still a pot shot in hell guessing what will be said or printed (ATC text) when it comes to contacting approach, departure, tower, etc....

I hear them say: Contact Holley Regional, but it types: Holley Navy.

I hear: Holley Navy, and it types Holley Regional.

I just don't get it. Any file that I ever created that stated Holley Navy in type or in EVP, is gone!!!!!! Everything that I can possibly find has been replaced.

The map shows Holley Regional-North Florida, but when you choose in the airport selection window, it is Holley NOLF. Once you choose it, it then becomes Holley Regional. WTF!!!!????

So, if anyone has any ideas, or just plain KNOWS where this crap it all located, please let me know. When I try to work on my airport, I can't get it out of my head..and it just really makes all my work not fun at all anymore...

Thanks!

- Greg
