• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.

Hi,

i found that wing42 site, not work anymore, and we not have any news from Wing42 after release of Boeing 247.

Do you know where is Wing42/Vittus, did hi stop developpement for MSFS?

thanks in advance

The site has been hacked. The original site is still there, but a landing page has been inserted that invites you to 'click here' to get a prize from BT.com.

I just noticed it too, and I am a paying customer without the ability to download the 247 or the Bleriot now.
Not to disrespect the devs but I am kind of pissed off.
Is there anything we as customers can do?
I don't want to buy the planes again just because I cannot download it from them directly.

Vitus hasn't visited this website since the 1st of December 2021, and hasn't made a post since 23rd of September of 2020.

A bit of compasion here please. There are a number of developers he has had contact with, and all of a sudden, no communication. There was no indication of anything wrong. Just nothing. Usually he buries himself in working on a project and is not heard from for a couple months, but the last time anything was communcated to other devs is April 2022.

People should be more concerned than angry. Just sayin'

Does anyone know of any other people he colaborted with? They know?

It was not meant directly towards Vitus.
I hope he's fine and all.
However a commercial company like Wing 42 should have stuff in place that if something happens to the dev(s) the site can stay online and things like that.
People payed money and now don't have access, that is not ok.
Again I hope Vitus is fine!

It's sad, hope he go well, and will come back to our world.

His two creation for MSFS are just really great!

If someone, know something, please write here some lines, thanks.

In credit of Boeing 247, we can see the others members of his team, for this project

Win42/Vittus is Otmar Nitshe

and the team:

Pamela Brooker, Zak Spence, Eric van der Veen, Natalaya Kopylova, Cynthia Camasca, Rob Crawshaw, Martyn (TwoCats),

et les testers, Don Spence, Peter Matthess, Matt Childs, Santiago Vazques, Tom Harnish

Please guys, if some one of you read this forum, could you tell us some news?

thanks in advance
