You have a cvx file that has flattened and cleared the ground. That should be sufficient.

I agree with you on the bumps. I saw the same thing slewing around in a C172 with Tcalcx open. Glad you got it fiqured out.
Runway Lights
I do see the problem with those pesky runway lights. It appears that some airports in the Europe area by default raise the side runway lights up a few ft. off the runway. I checked many stock airports in the area like Belfast, London, and even across the channel at EHAM and they all show elevated side runway lights.
If FSX is going to elevate these lights a few ft off the runway and also place them left and right of the runway edge they could have given us a pole to set them on.
What's interesting is my test airport which is 19A (USA) clamps the side lights to the runway perfectly and on the proper edge with no overhang like Europe airports are doing.
