• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    Flight Level 24 – Albatros D.III for MSFS 2020 / 2024

Hi, Flight Level 24 proudly announces our World War I aircraft for MSFS2024. It is Albatros D.III, a well known German's dogfighter of that period. Many legendary German aces, including Manfred von Richthofen (the "Red Baron"), achieved great success flying the Albatros D.III. Its performance...

MSFS20 CGtrader Partner - Selling Models

In my opinion, a Blender file is unnecessary unless you are using specific Blender modifiers that are only supported by the .blend format. The .dea (DAE) and .fbx formats are more universal and sufficient for most software. Additionally, keep in mind that FBX can contain multiple animation...

MSFS20 CGtrader Partner - Selling Models

Considering file formats I would prefer FBX as most common file format for animations, especially for character animation. It could also embed textures. I am in gaming industry for many years and .fbx is kind of standard, at least in game development. I am looking forward to see your products...

    makehuman animations

Hi, in my experience as long as you have mesh + armature structure in Blender you are able to export it successfully. As I remember makehuman is based on armature humans so there is no reason why you wouldn't be able to use it. As a hint for further researches it is relevant what .glTF format...

    Prolongate small objects visibility.

Hi dear developers and thank you for this community that make me able to learn a lot considering MSFS developing. I have short question. Do you know maybe if there is any way to prolongate little objects visibility, such as side runaway markers? I think it's not the problem with LOD but...
