• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Absolutely cool.

How did you cut out the windows?

A nice little tool I found called the "projection knife". So I basically made a circle of 10 vertices, shaped it like a window and then copied it over every windows, selected them all + the fusalage and use the projection knife, it cuts pritty clean! ;)

you are right ;)
Then, I thank you very much in advance to bring us an A350 :), Thank you Very Very Much :)

Your welcome I guess, but it still needs a lot of work (externally: gears, doors, interior and internally the VC and systems) so don't thinks it is currently close to release...

No need to worry, it's way too early for a livery.
But what you brought to the sim so far looks absolutely good.
Just some shading thing around the rudder: I'd recommend a few more loops there.

Well I think it would look better in a livery...although I know that's still a way out ;)
I'll take a look at the rudder, I think an edge split modifier might do the trick...
Thanks for the tip with the loops, I'll what I can do about that shading! :)
Also I might look into baking before the next render ;) but I don't know if that will do anything with the shading, since there're no textures yet....

So at this moment the left landing gear is taking shape (wheels, main structure and the lower fitting are nearly done) and the cargo holds are nearly finished...

Looking really good externally! Have you yet decided on how deep you will go system-wise? :)
Anyways, keep up the good work!

Thanks!
I'm gonna try to go as deep as necessary... Not promising anything yet though ;)

Before even thinking about the systems, you need a completely modelled, textured and animated exterior and interior model. ;)
