• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSXA Airbus A350 XWB

Ahh I'm in luck BTW! :D I just found that the November edition of Airliners world contains a good article on the A350's cockpit :P

though updates have become (and will still be over the next month or so) less frequent, the project hasn't died just yet ;)

Though it's still a bit early, I've tried yo make a first BMP file. I'd say it went well...

Nice job on the engine pylons.

Thanks Tom! It took me some time to get it the way it is now, but I like the way it looks.

Hi 747fly!

Great job! I really can't wait to see the gauges, once they are done! :D

Well I'm reading through Microsoft's tutorial on C++ gauge at the moment. I'll have to make the seperate BMPs first.

Can I say Yolo?
awesome work bro :)

I don't know, can you say Yolo? :D
Well I couldn't have gotten thjs far without your reference photo's, so thank you for that.

For me: Yolo mean, a BIG Exitation and anthousiamt, Bigger tham Amazed :D

And your are verry welcome for the pictures :) (Btw, pics was made by a friend of me :) William M.)

Well thank him for me! All I've got is some images I made when I saw the aircraft on the standa at Frankfurt, though I saw it up close but did get to observe it whole long time... Reference is always welcome, so ir was a great gift you had these images :)

The bad thing is (and I asked) nobedy can take pictures of the cockpit :/ sorry...
Well, this is the Most I could find about latest Cockpit shots of the real Thing: Check it out here (hope that helps "F747fly" to built the Cockpit parts...)

As well as These Pictures:

Number 1, Number 2

Number 3, Number 4

At least for the interior (and seat Conf) check out These Pictures:

Number 1, Number 2

Number 3, Number 4

Hope that helps, if you "F747fly" are considering to built a VC Cabin as well...

Maybe you'll find some informations about the A350 on the EADS Website

Thanks Airbasil! I've been searching for images pritty much every other week on sites like airplane-pictures and planespotters (.net). Most images are in some ways usefull. Ofcourse I've still been wondering if Airbus doesn't have these high-detail images just laying around in their archives somewhere... How I wish I could contact them.

As to an actual cabin_interior, well I just don't see the actuall point. I'd just be happy if I manage to make a somewhat decent VC with somewhat realistic systems... I also think that's what most people want, and very little people want an actual interior. I remember what it was like on the CS 777, which had a high-detail interior. It was modeled as a seperate which ment there was one exterior combined with the interior, the rest combined with the VC model. I never really flew that aircraft because it didn't have the VC, yet you fly it with only the VC. Point being it is quite labour intessive to make a cabin, and seeing so little people want that I don't think I'll make that... sorry.

BTW, what's with the quotes around my name?

I was just mentioning you, cause I replied to Marc's last post...
Nevertheless, I hope your usability of those Images I sent to you, is in somewhere of a practicality... for further building...

Can't wait to see this bird flying as a finished Project, pretty soon...
Keep on going!
