• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSXA Airbus A350 XWB

Both the VC and the "system" are work in progress, you can find what the VC currently looks like on the previous page of this thread. I can not tell anything about the depth of things on this aircraft yet I'm afraid.

This project is now more than a year old. Any news as it has been nearly 2 weeks without any post?

Well I've been busy doing non-development stuff aswell as working on some scenery recently... I've also been working on some painting but nothing worth mentioning. I was going to mention the anniversary of this thread but I forgot...

Didn't know about your scenery dev. Just checked the thread. Nice job. How long have you been using Blender?

That's a good question. I suppose I've been using Blender for about a year and a half now, perhaps a bit longer, but less then two years.

Thank you for your offer Danilo. I've been offered patinting services by numerous people but thusfar an (unlucky) few have gained acces to the paint kit...

No problems F747fly, if you find interesting in the future to include my work in developing the paint kit or so in the making of textures, I will be available.

Hey there F747fly,

If you need help with the paintkit making or repainting, don't hesitate to send me a PM and I'll show you my portfolio !

Cheers and Great Work !

Hi guys,

Well at this moment I am awaiting the results of a first round of painters who have received the paint kit as it is right now, I have not heard back from them so I don't know if the paint kit is any good. If it turns out to be okay though it seems obvious to atleast release the paint kit for pre-release painting.

Heard a lot about painting lately. How is the overall state of this? What about the landing gear kinematics, the systems and the VC?

Saw the A350 yesterday at the Berlin Air Show and now I need to fly her ;) Beautiful aircraft
Same here ;)

Yes I know, though it might not be the most important work or interesting work (painting that is) it is quite satisfying work...

Gear kinematics: MLG on the right hand side is fully rigged, MLG on the left is not yet riggid as I want to somehow try and copy the right MLG. The front gears have yet to be propperly modelled, something I shouldn't postpone any longer...

System: hard to show progress... I'm still learning a lot and making little progress from time to time but due to the fact I can not test my work yet it is hard to estimate the acrual progression...

Virtual Cockpit: haven't been doing much on it lately. Last thing I did was make the basics of the interior walls to allow me to make the "arm rests" on which the controle yokes/sticks are located, though I did not get around to do that yet...

And rest of you, enjoy the weather and the beautiful aircraft at the BER AS and I hope you will find my rendition of this state-of-the-art aircraft anywhere near as respectable as the real one ;)

ILA 2016 is over and was as successful as ever, despite less flying displays and less exhibitors.
