• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

So I made a RNLAF repaint, it's almost finished. I just can't figure out if there is something on the belly and where I can find the mesh of the 'hump' on the nose. You can see that it's still grey, but partially blue. I checked everywhere and I can't figure out where that blue is coming from, because there is no overlap anywhere. Also the wheelrims have to be blue too. I think this work isn't too bad, considering that this is my very first repaint ;)

Even though this is technically a fictional livery, I think it turned out pretty good. The two most noticeable differences between this version and the RNLAF version are the antenna, which is on top of the fuselage on the real RNLAF A3 and of course the different engine. But since there is no other A3 of this quality, it will have to do ;) I hope guys like it!

I love it..... btw the mapping for the air vent/intake on the front of the fuselage is marked as Air Intake At front in the guide layer.

Thanks, I'll fix it right away!

Any chance of adding only the exhaust and main rotorblades to the .MDL? Because they are a different colour as well. I'm not asking for the whole engine and rotorassembly, just the blades and the exhaustcover

Great start man! Glad I could help, but it seems that the Air Force Roundel on the right side is upside down ;) On the other RNLAF A3's the roundel on the belly is placed with the white part pointing at the tail, is it the same for this one?

Great @Roel maybe you can put the logo 50 year off Alouette on the heli..

@SARLeeuwrden I'd love too! Need a better picture than that one ;)

@mskhan1991: Looks like my repaint is of no use anymore ;) But an engine change would be soooo awesome! (Don't forget to put the antenna on the roof then too ;) )

Wow. that's a nice repaint! Don't worry about me asking about the engine! What is the use of a well modelled engine that won't even start up right?
