• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

X-Plane 11

Lake Constance. Infinite widths. We are writing the year 2017 ... and get a nice Lake Constance scenery for the X-Plane.

By "we" we mean the X-Plane user. Agi, known for some very good and high-quality conversions for the X-Plane, is currently building a Lake Constance scenery in Bavaria. In addition to the island of Lindau and the nearby Wildberg airfield (The Flying Farmer) is created. The airfield comes from no lesser developer like Thomas Zipfel. He is also known for his EDVY Porta Westfalica Airport which was published by ORBX. But also his freeware airfields can be seen very well. The scenery Bodensee will be based on an Ortophoto with a resolution of 60cm.

Here are a few pictures from the current state of development. The pictures were provided by Agi :)

Never knew that Lindau had such extensive rail facilities.

That was my first impression too :)
The railway system takes a very big place on the island of Lindau. Actually, there could be many hotels there for tourism :D

According to GE image date May 17. 2017 the representation of the railway area is completely correct. I would leave it that way

Well, the railway area as a hotel-tourist facility was a joke :)
Again, it was meant as a joke, no one intends to build a tourist facility

As a Berliner, tourists are a bit of a touchy subject. I get a nervous twitch every time I'm hearing Spanish or Italian somewhere from just too much exposure.

As a cosmopolitan person that I am (which we hope will be everything), the Spaniards, Italians and all others are always welcome. No matter if as a tourist, neighbor or friend :)
So please let us stay with the topic!

Sorry to be offtopic again but it was really planned to close that railway station on the island and make a "better use" of it. This project was called "Lindau 21"... If you know Stuttgart 21 you can imagine how popular that idea was ;)

It is really funny... I am going a weekend to Lindau and a week later a Zeppelin and a Lindau Scenery pop up here.... why it can't work always like this :)
