• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

Have you switched to object mode and select all (press A) in blender before exporting?
The current version of the exporter tool has fixed the issue with the xml file so you no longer need to manually change it.
 
No all objects are xported.

For four times, i trying to make a little scenery. MUCC, Jardines del Rey, Cuba.
Following some videos and tutorials, i have the ground and all airport almost done, and nice.

So, Xporting the 5 Hangars with BLENDER to MSFS, but in the Project editor, only show 2 hangars.

All have the same steps..simple hangars.
Dont know...

Hi all, having trouble figuring out how to export models with collision. Have selected collision in the MSFS options in blender but there was still no clipping. Anyone have any insight?
 
Can someone help me?? Im trying to load a building form blender to the game. I did everything right, but when I get in this is the compile erorr, it doesnt create the bgl file.... what am i doing wrong?

ok, a silly answer.
Once you build your package, you put the scenery folder inside community folder?.
Mean, you work and put object inside your project, right?, then you must put your scenery in the community folder...i think, tell me later.

Could you post screen shots of your .xml files from PackageDefinitions, modelLib, and main project folder? I suspect it might be an error there.

Everything looks correct to me. I have no idea why I am getting the error
 
Have you tested if it works? The console windows always shows dozens of irrelevant error messages.
 
So just playing around further with this issue this morning, it seems the problem is my model. If I export the default cube from blender then it all works fine. Will investigate further.

Have you checked that's all your textures have dimensions that are a power of 2? Like 1024 x 1024 or 1024 x 512 and so on? I had one texture that was 1024 x 577 and it prevented the model from being compiled correctly
 
Hello, this is my first post here and i am new to import GMaps to FS2020 and Blender.
i finished 1 project but i watched a YT tutorial and it worked.
but now i want to do my next project and i cant add the building to MSFS2020.
please help, thank you.

Hi guys, short question. Is any of you have experience/problem with alpha on the texture? I implement alpha in PNG albedo but It's not visible so well in FS. I suppose I didn't set well shader in Blender? Here are examples and how it looks in Blender and in the MSFS. It's part on the top of the building. It's antena and I would like to make it with alpha. Tnx.!
