• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

P3D v2 Bombardier Challenger 605

First livery is just about finished! I plan to have about 10-20 more repaints after this one.

Thank you. Yes, there will be a paint kit included upon release. I will be working along with a volunteer texture artist and I plan to have around 10-15 different liveries by the end. Very soon, you will start seeing renders of the cockpit and cabin. This will take a very long time, so it will likely be released first with just a 2-D cockpit or the default CRJ-700 VC, followed by V2 with an interior. :D

External model is 100% complete! Looks beautiful in FSX, which surprised me.

Notice the difference in the tail cone...What? It can't be! Is this a Challenger 604? And did I also make a 601-1A version? No... Yes! :D I plan to make all 3 models, each with their own VC's! It turns out that since this project is so much fun, I couldn't resist going for all the variants. So I will attempt all 3 cockpits, starting with the 604's. (The 604 cockpit *should* be easier to convert to a 605 and 601 since it has a lot of similarities to the other ones.) That means 3 exterior models and 3 2-d panels in the first release, followed by all 3 VC's!! :D

:eek::eek::eek: I WANT IT NOW! That is amazing! I have a new hero! Can't wait to my hands on it and start painting as well!:D

AMAZING WORK!

:) He is shooting for a Tri-Canuk aviation developer specialist with most elusive AC needed in the Business and VIP Class, Love it:D You complete the feat and I'll run the NWT colors up next to my Texas Flag.

Wow! it is really beautiful! first screenshot seems more a real photo than a FsX image!! Congratulations ;)

Damn that is looking good...Makes my fingers itch to create glass gauges again...

Whoops...I almost went on before I noticed that all 3 models had "605" written all over them! :p Could have been embarassing...:o

3d gauges and all the avionics, the switches etc. That's a hell of a lot work to do.:)

You said it. That's why I'm looking for people to help with this.
Well, I spent about three months on the overhead panel of the 737-200 I've been working on for the past eighteen months...

Thankfully, it's coming close to release now as she enters her final round of beta testing this week, with possible release by Saturday.

The complicated part too, is that the panel on the 604 is a little different from the 605 panel. I think the basic shell is the same, so the biggest change is the avionics.

Thanks for doing all 3 though. Looking very nice.

Greg
