• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Cessna 150 Taildragger v2.0 in Open-Alpha

Hi,
Since there are a lot of requests concerning the Cessna 150, I am thinking in particular of the people of Sim-Outhouse who made him a very good welcome when this addon was release in v1.0 and who very often asks for news of next version, I decided to upload a working version that I would update regularly. This will be an open-alpha to take the term into fashion so an operational version but not totally finished.

The current state of affairs allowed me last night to prepare a first archive of the Cessna 150 Taildragger (tail wheel) since it is functional under Prepar3D v4 HF1 64bits .
What works:
- the sound, fuel and cockpit sound management are new functional thanks to the new freeware modules by Doug S. Dawson,
- a number of points inside the cockpit have been solved, thus the management of the ADF and the reception of the morse signals,
- the main functions of the Damage Mod are there but some must be reviewed because the XML encoding errors are no longer forgiven by the SDK of Prepar3D.

What remains to be done:
- add some functions that I put in my ToDo List ...
- review the external and internal textures that cause problems: there are notably the new engine cover and oil hood (with an additional animation that has had concerns: the hood comes alive in the sense reverse).

This will be the rule:
- I would take the remarks when technically possible and if it falls into my specifications but I do not commit myself to anything.
- The goal is to improve this aircraft and bring it to an even higher technical level.

It's release: http://frenchvfr.free.fr/download.php?lng=fr&pg=683&tconfig=0

For the moment FSX or FSX:SE isn't tested and supported ...

Enjoy with it and good fly !

I always loved that little airplane; it looks really nice.
Congratulations.

This version can be used with FSX or P3D 64 bits: two panel_X.cfg are delivered, Panel_x32 and Panel_x64.
You should change manually the Panel.cfg with one of two files delivered.

Good fly
