• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Clearing out a Hangar

Hi all,

as you might know I am creating the complete EDJA airport in Germany. Release will be soon. You can watch the most recent state under showroom->EDJA Airport Memmingen.

@Frank
Hi, it seems you are a professional in terms of creating and programming. I already have created a shelter, wich has an animation to it. But I can't get the anim to work since i have no clue how to tell FSX (SP2) to use a certain frequence or how to prepare the anim under Gmax. Could you give me a hint or a link to a tutorial. I saw the tutorial about the jetways but that didnt help me coz it won't show how to import the anim into FSX. They do it with bones and stuff. Do i really have to use bones? I made my animation(the doors open and close) just by rotating the the pivot around its y-axis. I gues that won't work.
I would really appriciate, if you could give me a helping hand on that.

Many thanks in advance

Hey just out of curiosity... Did Frank's suggestion help solve your problem?

no, not yet. I am bit scared to install the FS2004 SDK. I want my setup to be a clean FSX one. I need to learn so much more. I am sure I will find a way to do so. With the great help of all the pros here, I am very positive about solving my problem :)

I ll keep you updated.

Cheers,

Demon
