• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

No problem!
I know about the trim issue, but I haven't done anything to that yet, because model and textures have been first priority. The final complet official release model will come out soon, and there will be some improvements/adjustments on the FDE as well. :)

I have also uploaded an improved Q100 model. There are sound and a very simple panel included, but it's not my/our work!

I am working with @Moken adding PBR to his modifications of the DW Dash 8 series and here are the results. These are not final and are a continued work in progress.

Does anyone have some links for some of the paints? im looking for an air canada paint. im willing to contribute back. i've completely redone the pbr from scratch.. i'll share some pics when i get home today.
 
Blowing some dust off my more detailed dash 8 model and moving it over to Blender, that will be a project on it own just to convert from FSDS to Blender. I need to convert one by one part, so that will take quite some time to do so.

The Dash project is far from dead and I have the files on hand to bring them into FSX and P3DV4/5. I don't work with FSDS anymore, so I'm using other methods to at least finish what I received from @Moken I have 7 models at the moment, from the 100-400 with a few additional models that might make the lineup. This is a big project, so no timeframe for release

The 100 series nearly completed with only a few items left to finish. The plan for my part is FSX native with spec and bump maps, P3D native with PBR maps. The final pack will contain the 100, 200, 300 and 400 series aircraft.

Be well aware that the new paintkit is not compatible with the old Dreamwings models as there are many remapped areas.
