• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I fixed this one. I'll update the upload when I get the time.

Found another bug, the backup altimeter does not function at all minus the artificial horizon. And thanks Ed.

I could not reproduce this. In my setup it works perfectly.
Is there anybody else encountering this issue? If yes, in which sim?

Hello,
Apparently I messed up some files and added the wrong .cab file to the package. Just fixed this today.

Is there anybody else encountering issues with the backup PFD in P3Dv4?

I'm really struggling to install this - have I downloaded the right file (click on the cockpit image in your sig, right?)? Are the PDF instructions correct? There are no Gauge or Sound folders in the zip file & why does it tell me to copy the mdl file from the original fsx aircraft over the one from the zip file? Excuse my ignorance, this looks like an awesome mod.

EDIT : Just found this https://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fsxgau&DLID=100473 on AVSIM. Does this add to your work? Can they be used together?

Dave's package provides only part of a working add-on aircraft. Therefor, it will require an external model, the gauges for the cockpit, a soundset and textures to work.

No, merging this requires skilled manual intervention.

You are right, I made a mistake there and the gauges and sound folder are missing in the zip. Sorry for that, I fixed it now.

It is not intended to overwrite the existing mdl file but my model folder only contains the cockpit, so the user has to add the exterior into that folder. This is primarily to make this compatible for more than just the default CRJ (for example the Project Opensky one)

Indeed it is meant to be added to an existing aircraft. However the gauges are actually included.

Hey dave, is the VC still available for download? I found the dropbox link but got a 404 error

I just tried it and it worked for me. Did you make sure you are using the most recent link and clicked the cockpit image in my signature?
