Hey guys,
Will start by saying I'm not a developer. Meaning my knowledge about these kind of things is limited to say the least.
Reason I'm in here is I have a number of payware airports for MSFS with static aircraft models as part of the scenery and no option for me as a customer to remove these. Which is a real pain when doing all flying online on Vatsim. Meaning these static aircraft models interfere with online aircraft models, occupy gates etc.
In the past when I was using X-Plane, I had the same problem with many airports but found a great tool (I think it was called WED - World Editor IIRC) which I learned to use to add exclusion zones over the static aircraft models.
Now in MSFS, I figured it might be a similar way to get rid of these models. So far, I've learned one option seems to be switching to Dev Mode, download the latest SDK and then use Exclusion Rectangles. I've watched a couple of YouTube videos but I'm still struggling exactly what steps are required to accomplish what I'm looking for.
With this said, is there anyone in here who knows if there is a very basic and simple step-by-step tutorial I could follow to get rid of these static aircraft models?
Many thanks in advance for your help!
