• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS20 Freeware Diamond HK36TC for MSFS

Update 08.02: I'm testing the first Alpha-Release Version (maybe release) if all tests are successfull i'm releasing the Alpha today or tommorow. This Version won't have the Spoiler model but they are effective ingame. 👀 ;)

I'm unable to take off in the Alpha release.
As soon as I load in at the airport, my engine cuts out. I cant find any switches to turn the engine on, and the mixture lever isn't movable. I just sit on the runway with a dead engine

If I may make a few remarks ... using MCX (i am curious), I have noticed some points in your first Alpha:
- blades are not scaled (scale factor isn't equal at 1)
- one texture is not a power of 2 (8196 isn't correct, 8192 yes)
- why use so much polygones especially on the wings and the fuselage, when a surface is flat, dividing it into a very large number of small parts is useless except overloading the model.

There are several functions under Blender to eliminate excess faces (decimate or dissolve edges) and these economy can be reported on the VC.
The other glider of Aerosoar (Discus) have the same troubles on the 3D model: too much polygones where isn't required.

Thx for the Feedback i'm going to take a look at the issues!
The Falke which I'm releasing soon has a much lower poly count.
