Support for Windows 7 ends 6 months from now. The new sim is only in development. Which do you think will come first, FS2020 release or execution day for Win7?I would hope they keep Windows 7 in the loop. Its a dang nice OS and very stable with no bugs.

Win7 will continue to run, and run well even after 'support' expires.
They’ll all still run, but most are unlikely to run FS2020.

Who relies exclusively on Window's own protection anyway?
Take a guess how many businesses currently still run Credit Card Merchant Account transactions on 'point of service' ancient modular computer / card mag-stripe scanners using Windows XP Embedded.t:
C'mon, you need to pull these out on the plane in coach or in your hotel room instead of that silly controller.![]()

It is simply because Win7 cannot run DX11 much less DX12. Not being able to run your GPU is a pretty big stumbling block...What is the reason you all (well, maybe some of you?) suspect it will not run anymore on W7???
It should, AFAIK, have nothing to do with the Windows version you are using unless there is something involved that has nothing at all to do with the Windows version but with the 'cloud' or some other (yet to discover) things that would make it impossible when not available in W7.
Now, what could that be????????????? Definitely not 64bit!

Win7, not really supported, just kinda, sorta, maybe...I’m not sure that’s right about Win7 and DX11. DirectX 12 might be a problem, but I’d have to check.

The only thing I want - and preferably in P3D - is to get of the bloody awful 256-bit colour restriction. It is giving me no end of stick with the latest generation of Nvidia GTX2000-series GPUs running 4K monitors. Really, really bad reproduction of any form of gradient.
