• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

MSFS20 How to stop planes from using wrong taxiway

If my hold short is wrong or what can any body spot the problem? It suppose to go up to end of taxiway at RWY 33. Traffic landing can use this to access taxiway. The aircraft takes off from here.

Set the taxi path(s) to "CLOSED"
However, I dare say most developers eventually come to use the method of drawing taxiways with apron objects, putting down the taxi lines by hand, and then add the taxi paths only where they want them and with no draw characteristic.
 
I can't really tell from your pictures. If the aircraft is coming from the right in the picture the taxi lines indicate that it has nowhere to go but straight across to the runway. If it is taxiing to the top of the picture it looks like there is a missing link at the intersection.

Here's my primitive pic from ADE...I redrew the taxiway exit at an angle and its closed but I haven't seen any traffic landing or taxiing lately. Anyway..frickin asobos...lol

fantastic..Thanks @SMWilliams ... I have redone my airport so many times that I don't know whether I am flying or landing..lol
In the taxi Link list there are "Parking" and Runway .I leave that alone..right? My ai's still backup a little and then just disappear?
