• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Installing Modified Airport

zip up the logs for the last five days please and attach them to a post in this thread.

The SDK should not be installed inside the MSFS main folder. It would be better outside. If you installed it correctly then you ADE should find the path

OK - thanks for posting those. Sadly the logging code does not currently cover the build process. Seems I did not get around to that yet. I will add some logging for the next update but that won't help you much.

As a final test can you please create a new project from stock using EGCW (Welshpool). Just create it, save it and build it. Be sure not to make any changes. I want to see if a completely vanilla project will complete the build process

which dialog? a temporary message or a console window?

OK. here's one last thing. go to the Packages folder inside the EGCW project main folder. Is it empty?

I am very sorry but I have run out of ideas. I will try and get a version of ADE 2020 which logs the build process in a week or so. However it can only log what is happening in ADE or what the package tool returns as a result. This may not give us much more. Meantime you may consider using the In Sim Dev Mode as an alternative to ADE.

That’s ok…. I’ll wait for the new updates and soon I’ll be able to use ADE.
Thank you very much for all the help
