• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS20 Kennedy Space Center Scenery for MSFS2020

Congrats @Misho I looks awesome. I personally own annual passes to the KSC and I looks great. If you need pictures or info let me know.
Thank you, I will! There will be V3 coming out later in the year, I need to concentrate on SpacePort.

Your passes - do they let you in the VAB or on the launch pads??

No. The bus tour only drives by the VAB. In one of my visits years ago, the bus took us all the way to one of the launch pads.

Are you planning on modeling the Saturn V center? I have plenty of pictures of that. Is the visitor complex the one that Microsoft modeled a few years ago?

Aha. In 2018, I also took a bus tour, but they only drove by the VAB and took us to the beach site, right next to the Pad A. Also went to the Saturn V center, spectacular. We didn't cover the visitor complex at all, what you see is MS default, unless there is someone's add on scenery that covers it.

For now, no touristy attractions :)... We have more pressing items to include, like interior of VAB, SpaceX hardware, and improvements to infrastructure, buildings, some nice details (working launch clock at press center), and perhaps some new functionality.

Funny thing, several customers are current NASA employees, and they are in touch with me, commenting how accurate and "trippy" the scenery is. They go and visit it virtually after work. One individual told me he found something in our scenery he didn't know existed, went to check it IRL, and sure enough it was there.

56 years ago today, Apollo 11 launched towards Moon! Here is a video of one of our customers, using the KSC Scenery and superimposing a real-life Apollo 11 launch video and audio commentary! Pretty cool!

Here is a video of the full motion and effect crawlerway water truck, used for dust control. Still some tweaking to do, but overall, a nice touch! 🙂

LOVE the effect!! Mastery! Although - right where the stream starts, it looks more like steam than water.

More new stuff for V3!
