• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MSFS AI Boats problem

Good morning everyone.

I have a problem that I can't solve and that will surely be stupid.
I'm trying to create a route with a model of GAIST but the ship never appears.
I create a .kml with the route, modify the Boats_Ship_XXX.txt and the Plans_Ship_XXX.txt, compile everything with AIBRC without errors, and pass the .bgl to
Folder:
C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community\gaist-mediterranean-routes\Scenery
But the demon ship never appears.
I have checked hours, I see the other ships of the gaist...but mine does not want to leave.
These are my files:

- Boats_Ships_LELC_83125.txt
AC#1,8,"AI_Hesperides"

- Plans_Ships_LELC_83125.txt
AC#1,Hesperides,5%,24Hr,12:00:00,17:17:43,83125,normal,ferry,16:00:00,21:17:43,83125,reverse,ferry

- Routes_Ships_LELC_83125.kml

- .BGL----traffic_Ships_LELC_83125.bgl

Any ideas?
Any kind soul? ;)

MSFS does not allow us to modify existing scenery Packages. You'd have to bundle your new .kml, new Boats_Ship_xxx.txt and Plans_Ship_xxx.txt with only your edits on them into a new .bgl and create a scenery Package from that.

Okay.
So is it to create another folder in community in which "Scenery----.bgl" and SimObjects---boats---xxx" are?

MSFS is more complex than that. The SDK explains how to create new scenery Packages and there are DevMode sample projects, to get you started. Between those and what you've already figured out, it seems pretty obvious you'll be able to understand what's necessary.
