• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

MV-22B Osprey

@FREDDO Yes, basically the aircraft cycles its own thrust, where it pushes down air, then immediate sucks it back up from the top of the rotors if the aircraft descends too quickly. Although that would be cool if the MV-22 could do aerobatics! BTW, do you still have contact with the person who gave you access to the v-22? if you do, I had a couple questions about the aircraft.

FYI
this MV22B (simulator version) can do aerobatic event with nacelles 1-30 degree (with VTOL still active) you can do aerobatic like an airplane. this was an incredible script that @rcbarend do with his gauge. just turn OFF auto nacelles, if not Auto nacelles will adjust nacelles if speed less than airplane limit.

VRS (vortex ring states) was part of reality that manipulated to be use in sim. VRS is the biggest part that make this aircraft crash, VRS can solved in helicopter but not yet in MV22B. we decide to add this as extra feature. it can turn ON and OFF (not part of real aircraft ... lol )

upgrading going on again....

Regards, Kalong

Something need to precise or ruin everything.

Hey @Sixshot
Currently no plans for an HMX paint. For right now, @letourn is only making the standard (Low vis grey/CAG) real world squadron paints. Not sure about the plan for more repaints after that.

Really can't wait for this! Just wondering if theirs a HMX-1 Repaint for her!

Don't worry, I will include paint kit texture in release version (separately). so every V-22 lover can make their own texture. for internal texture I'll keep it with me.

FYI
last beta nearly rolling out, if there no much remark, I will release it.

GREAT, Can't wait to get it :D

Will be posting more screenshots over the next few days. FsRecorder is limited and doesnt save prop position, so some of the rotors were in the ground unfortunately

It was a big challenge for me to make MV22B proprotor (propeller-rotor).
FSX/P3D didn't have this kind of proprotor, they only have separate rotor and propeller in different of uses as Helicopter and airplane. this 2 different type of aircraft (helicopter and airplane) can't combine together in default as they are different script and coding.

Heater - great pictures. Team responsible for this build; I stand in AWE and AMAZEMENT and you have my utmost respect. Very awesome and eagerly awaiting the release. I really do think this is a much needed add-on to the FSX/Prepar3D community. I believe this will be a hot commodity for single and multi-player communities. Absolutely love this aircraft and the capabilities its brings to the fight in the real world. Extremely excited to fly this build. I am very glad there are coders like yourself, Rob, and all the others who contributed to this build that are willing to dedicate their time to this model. Thank you again.

@shortleash I completely agree! Hopefully we'll get it released soon here. Beta testers have Beta 4 now ()hopefully final beta), and we are currently reviewing for any major issues with the aircraft before the first public release..

@letourn @Heater Fantastic Screenshots! Letourn where did you get that LHD? Would be nice to get some PhotoReal textures on this bird! Might try to do that once its released.
