• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSXA Parking Problem

Could not find a part of the path C: Program Files (X86) Airport Design Editor 9X\FSX\Scenery\0302\Scenery\APX 26160.bgl.

Please check that your setting for FS folders is correct.

What does this mean? I start ADE and click on my stock airport and I received the above error.

It means that you have not set the path to your FSX installation in ADE.

Please check this out for how to set the paths:

That is exacily what I have done. Every thing is where it should be. The problem persists.

I removed accelerator, Fsx, and ADE, Cleaned up my register as best as I can and I'm going to relaxe for 10 minutes before I try things again. Maybe a bit longer. Frank!

When starting ADE, right click it and choose Run As Administrator.

Are you installing/re-installing ADE in the default folder or some other folder. What is the installation folder for ADE?

I cleaned up and started FSX from the begining. I loaded FSX, and found some files I may have missed. After making sure ADE was off my Harddrive. Installed the 150 verion and opened a stock airport. I added a taxyway right eside my runway, saved it and compiled it okay. Did a short fight with no problems. I checked the location of my BGL and it wasn't where it was suppost to be. It was in Microsoft Simulator X, so I moved it to addon Scenery/ scenery. The ad2 was in the Documents Library. The flight I made showed me the taxiway and I now things are okay. I built my airport twice as I didn't like the first one (pickie, picie) :) Fsx is now reading every changes I make, and my flights are good. Now all I have to do is find out how to export my Buildings back useing my old reference papers I've collected over the years. Some are good and some are very outdated. (I tried moving MSFS but that didn't work for me). It is now where it should be. (Default)

This it the 10 time I've rebuilt my airport over the years, and the Gmax buildings are still good to use. The Museum is not so good. I may rebuild it. Thank you all for your kind assistance, what would I do without your help. Frak!
