• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

P3D v5 Project Africa for P3Dv4/P3Dv5

Wonderfull screen of Kilimanjaro (the first image).
In 2000, for my work I make a travel to Durban and the first thing at 6h00 I saw throw the window of the 747 was ... the Kilimanjaro, the same view that your first screen.

Thanks a lot!

Actually I wanted to publish Tanzania today, but due to Corona it is now delayed for at least 2 days.
I hope that the delays will be limited, but in the current situation, which changes almost every hour, you can't promise anything!

Stay healthy!

The Internet is likely to be heavily solicited as many countries are in lockdown and ask their citizens to stay at home to work.
FSX/Prepar3D are importants but are ONLY "games" ;)

That's exactly the reason, the internet is much slower because of this, so uploading the sceneries is slower too.
I also lent one of my workstations to my father so that he can also work from home.

But here are some pictures from Zambia:

By the way, as ORBX just released openLC Africa:
My sceneries are also working perfectly together with openLC Africa!

So for example, you can use openLC Africa, and for the regions you are interested most, my sceneries

Exactly what I plan to do now. I do have to say though that your sceneries look far superiour when flying along the borders between yours and the ORBX scenery.

Thanks for the comparisons, very useful! Overall, it’s probably not surprising that your project Africa tends to look better, but I was pleasantly surprised by some of the openLC images as well. I can see a mixture of the two works well, using openLC for the more plain, continuous areas, such as the deserts of Libya.

That works perfectly, yes!

In the meantime I have made some airports in Central Africa more attractive:
