Scenery or Airport for an airport project with surroundings?

Hello all.

Im not getting a satisfiying answer to the question what one should use for an airport with surroundings. The examples folders in the SDK has a scenery folder and an airport folder. Looking at the tutorials available (flyingtheston for example) they seemingly choose "Scenery" for a simple airport, for whatever reason.

Cant find the answer in the SDK doc either. Can anyone enlighten me please?

Thanks

The result would be the same, so it doesn't really matter. Looking at the two samples, the airport simply places airport facilities and adds a custom texture. The scenery project includes an object library and a placement file. All my projects include both, and more, so I could have started from either. Most of the contents of both would be discarded for your own project anyway, and what remains is pretty much the same thing.
After learning the basic layout from the samples, I now use my own template to start a project, so you don't actually have to use either.
