Hello lads!
@euroastar350 did a great job at converting Nemeth Design’s Ka-26 from FS9 to P3Dv4. But since I still fly virtually with FSX, I am working at converting the MDLs back to the FSX format.
I have changed the .$$A texture extensions to .bmp, then opened both MDL in MCX and saved them in the FSX MDL format.
Everything looks fine when I inspect the converted files in MCX : textures show up and animations run as they should.
BUT, when I select the converted Ka-26 in sim, nothing shows up! I don’t get an error message. I just can’t see the model. It looks as if all textures were transparent.
Is this an issue any of you has already faced (and solved)?
Is there a material parameter change that has proved to be required when converting models back from P3Dv4 to FSX?
Thank a lot for your help!
