• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

That sure looks great. Are you intending to do more norwegian airports like this?

In addition to my current Travel Air Mystery Ship, I am at various stages in the following:

P-26 Peashooter (exterior almost complete)
Laird Solution (see show off thread)
Laird Super Solution (barely begun and hardly worth mentioning)

Considering:

Boeing F2B
Thomas Morse SE-5
F2G Super Corsair
Curtiss FIIc
Curtiss P-1
Curtiss F9C-2

Can you guess where my interests are?

Ok, maybe this is a bad idea...maybe a great idea... but, with regards to this thread, which is GREAT!!!!!!.... Could it be split?

Maybe even it's own area.. Projects

Then, categorize by Country or Region. Maybe even by designer.

Just a thought...

That might be an idea. Since we started this thread it has grown a bit :). But I guess it still serves its purpose of making developers aware of what others are doing.

I would have to think what the best way is to keep something like this readable. Maybe we could move this to the Showroom forum and combine it with previews? Any suggestions are welcome.

This really is a thread for the showroom.

Maybe subforums in the showroom for
airports (full airports and related objects)/scenery (buildings/general objects)/aircraft (okay, and things that float on water) /Other (flying saucers, doghouses, animals...)

I agree..this should be in the Showroom.. And yes, I would love the sub sections (that's why I also mentioned them...lol.)

Could get very confusing, but if done right, would really be nice place to linger in and see what's going on with others...

The list is endless of how it could be subbed...(I know I am not helping..lol)

Aircraft
(the subs for aircraft are mind blowing)
Buildings
Objects
Modern Airports
Retro Airports
Real Airports
Fake Airports
Land/Watercraft
FAKE craft (starwars ships, flying couches, concept vehicles, etc..)

Could put airports into country areas or region areas... I mention this one because as I stated, I may not personally care about reading/viewing airports in Europe, while others may have no desire to see airports in the US, etc...

Let me know if you want any help on this.... I am insane when it comes to organizing boards.... I took our happy little 8 forum board for reality tv and when done, we had 10 sections, with 83 sub boards and 146 sub-sub boards. COULD be a nightmare when a new person came in, but in reality (haha) once you looked at how it was laid out, it made perfect sense, and people could very easily find what they were looking for.

Heretic - some of those EVRA textures look like they're from the FS9 scenery by Matthew Ministry, is that right? I'm sure I recognize the people in the pier! :)

Surely you'd be better off with photos?

Yep, it's his textures. If ever release the airport, I will of course ask him for permission first.
Didn't feel like making new textures for everything.

And good luck with photos from EVRA. When I had my high time working on the airport 18 months ago, usable photos on the net were as rare as female flightsimmers. ;) :D

Work is still progressing on the Do-328, though I might be a perfect candidate for the slowest MSFS developer ever. :D

I just found this thread. My projects are Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. I'm just kinda updating them (All 9) and adding sound. If I find a unlisted airport thats been used for "other purposes" I'll add that too. This will be freeware.

Let's keep it simple: This thread is good as it is - but how about an open KML-Layer or something for GoogleEarth? Not sure if that is possible, but if we could create a layer in GE or GoogleMaps where everobdy can pin his/her pdoject, that'd be great.

A Google Earth Pinup Board would be an excellent idea.... That would also give us a visual representation of the global coverage of the various developers as a whole :)
