Enhancing the terrain is one of the common tasks in scenery design. Maybe you want to include more detailed elevation data. Or maybe you want to improve the land classification, so that the landscape looks more realistic. Or maybe you have some nice aerial photos that you would like to put on the terrain. Or maybe you want to add new vector data for roads or shorelines. All of the activities mentioned above are part of terrain design. This category gives you articles that explain how you can do this.
