• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    I converted my old MDL to gITF but am unsure how to open them in ade. I tried using library objects manager, point to my terminal folder containing the gITF files but library objects manager tool only seems to want .bgl files. How can I import my gITF objects in ADE?

    I think there is alot of problems with the taxiway lighting. I have most taxiway lighting doesnt work, some does or sometimes its offset many meters from the edge. I have even deleted and recreated the same taxiway to rectify the problem, same ill effect. Its a mess.

    Is there currently a way that I can flatten the taxiways and apron areas within ADE any other way? The experience of taxing around the airport with un-level/bumpy ground is less than optimal so say the least.

    While I was reading some other peoples issues and replies, that prompted me to update the SDK version. I'm still getting an error which I will try to work out but at least the black prompt window opens up. Hope this helps others who run into the same issue. DOWNLOAD LATEST SDK! :)

    jon I spoke too soon.....everything looks good in ADE bus FSX still displays the asphalt links. Im testing other possibilities. Ok I cant get it to work properly. Jon, I do think it would be a good idea to make the runway links editable to a different surface type.
