I have seen some tutorials on how to add dynamic lighting to P3D using model converter X. Adding the effect to a building and then overwriting an existing building BGL or adding the building to an airport with ADE.
This may be a long shot, but does anyone know if there is a tool to add dynamic lighting effects in space in sim? Basically positioning the effect by itself without attaching to an object, but also doing it in the simulator live so I do not have to test it each time to be sure it is placed where desired?
I know the chances of something like this existing are slim, but I thought I'd ask if anyone knows of something just in case.
To place lighting independent of objects I could use MCX create an invisible object with the effect in it, then place that in an airport in ADE. But that will result in a lot of trial and error to get it right. Live in-sim placement would be ideal.
Thanks.
