• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

It's just project burnout. Everyone suffers from it once in a while and you just have to do something different. He will get back on it after a while. You don't put that much effort into a project then just through it away.

Project is not actually dead, it's just at a standstill at this moment... Paul is 100% correct in his statement!

Can confirm. I hope that I never have to open a Challenger scene in Max ever again...(They're still cool in real life though. :rotfl:)

Take it easy on yourself F747fly, don't pull any neurons over this project. Otherwise you might end up in developer rehab and take longer to recover.
 
Hi, please, remember that, as Every developer, he has a live, in his case, he is student and so, can't be every time on his project :) when he is free, he is on it :) and Plus, he also have to redo Dusseldorf :)

Such a positive vibe you bring here... Yes, things have been extremely slow for the past few months, real life tends to catch up with me, with everyone for that matter. Unfortunately all of us have a life besides developing, we've got jobs, go to school, have friends and family and all of that comes before developing for me (and I think it does for most of us). Trust me when I say I wished I could've finished this whole thing a long time back, but I didn't, and simply being pessimistic by static something very obvious, won't get you or me anywhere.
And of course I could say this whole project is, to take the famous terminology, "dead" but that's not a fully rational term in my opinion. For something to be "dead" it would never be able to "live" again, and this project very well can live again... All it takes is time. So instead of posting these kinds of things, which are not motivating me or anyone else to start developing anything, just take a deep breath, read up on A350s, try some modeling yourself and above all be patient ;) In the end you also have to realize I am not a well-respected developer, I've never published anything before. This is one of the reasons I do not publicly announce this project for the whole FS-community to see, but just for my peers (be it mainly people who I hope can look down on me and help me).
