• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Arlanda, Stockholm

WHATTTT :o

Sure, It's better that I've expected, Voyage; please Ads mon on the list of Beta Testers :D (if you want, not forced)

PS: Are you French? because "Voyage" means Travel in French ;)

Marc, sadly not French but you've got a beautiful language! I'm aware of the meaning, thought it was a good one for this kind of business ;) can't speak a single more word of French than that though. Or yes I can actually ; a jue d'esprit, or something similar hehe

Voyage! From Denmark a big thank you for doing this! This community and the lot of us are some lucky SOBs for having guys like you! Can't wait for this scenery - please consider opening up a PayPal donate account - would love be able to repay you in some way after touching down in a prepar3d v2 capable Arlanda! Keep up the motivation and excellent work!

thanks for the paypal idea, that's so nice of you. let's see what you think about the product first ;)

i've been on holiday for two weeks and just got back so it's been paused a few weeks. i'm finally getting the p3d sdk so inserting stuff now, i think and hope i will soon have some great in-game screens for you.
think i'll keep away from giving dates from now on, it's harder to judge than i expected. but it's moving on and my companion Philip Schall has done amazing work with the cargo area and as soon as it's all in there i will show you all.

Super early preview. But still: first preview from within p3d v2.4! Some main buildings and first layers ground textures. Repeating extremely early preview with just some main things imported. Thought you would be happy to see ! ;)

No, I am not. Just wait until you have some response from Beta testers (of P3Dv2, v3, v4,v5, ...).
For instance: Are there any apron lights , taxi (edge) lights, well aligned approach lights etc. in the scenery, winter textures, night textures?
You will have problems with all these.
If those P3D Beta testers are satisfied then I will believe you have performed a miracle!
(If it were not for P3D, ESGG (and probably some others) would have been available before Xmas.)
I hope Voyage has performed this miracle as that would certainly help all those that are complaining on the P3D forum.
But in the meantime I suggest Voyage to release this scenery for FSX only and warn P3D users that they can use it but could end up finding some problems that are not due to the skill or mistakes of the maker(s) but due to the shortcomings of P3D.

Yes all lights are there - what are you referring to? As for legacy Aerosoft airports there a fixes for every one of them.... Winter textures? What...? Night textures...? I'm not sure we're on the same page here...

As far as I know Stockholm is in a rather seasonally influenced climate zone with snow in winter and dark at night except maybe for a small period in July. That is why I am wondering whether the seasonal, the night and the light textures will be working as they should in P3D.
What does your comment on Legacy Aerosoft Airports Fixes have to do with this Arlanda scenery (which I like very much when looking at the screenshots)?
And yes, we are on the same page because I want a nice Arlanda maybe as much as you do unless I start feeling I want to do it myself.
Just pointing out the fact that P3D gives you a lot of headaches at the moment you think you have your Arlanda ready for P3D as well.
Let your P3D Vx Beta testers tell you and do not forget what I said.

Well, you most likely know a hell of a lot more about this than I do, so If you're not keen about p3d for various reasons, It's great that FSX is seeing a revival these days with steam and all. As for scenery in P3d and what can be done or not, I think Flytampas EKCH is a great example of beautiful textures (including night and seasons) as well as mind blowing good performance... I meant know disrespect in my comments - I was just surprised to hear a fellow simmer with such bad experience with P3D - that's all... Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the heads up! Good to know. That might come handy if I experience a lot of trouble. However I'm a strong fan of P3D even if I enjoy FSX as well, and as for me P3D is the future and the future is something this scenery should be a part of ;) I'll keep in mind your comments though and thanks for heads up for problems to come
