• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi there!

Not much new to report, Oskari is working on an updated panel & instrument bitmaps. I did my first solo in the Atec Zephyr last Thursday  , so I have not had much time to sit down and work.

Hi there,
how does it goes, were there a beta tests already? ;) Im having a final exam flight this week on this bird so a FS training would be nice :D
Good luck in developing

Real nice work Hans, looks like the perfect VFR plane. Will be looking
for it to fly around the jungle.............:)

Hi!

No, there have not been any betatests! :) I recieved an update on the airfile and sounds from Oskari yesterday, so they are almost final, but still have to complete modelling and, most of all, the texturing. So it was a big step forward but still there is some obstacles which has to be taken care of.

Patience, friends! ;)

Hi!

Just an update, here´s a screen of the panel from the VC in FS9. Oskari is working on panelsounds and the AIR-file is finished - she flies great! :) Also changed some exterior stuff to better match the real thing.

Thanks! And yes, of course there is a 2D panel, and subpanels for flaps, right view, landing view etc.

This is looking brilliant!

I scanned this thread without finding an answer - is this for FS9 or FSX (or both:) )

Hi!

It´s developed using the FS2004 tools, but works flawless in FSX. I posted another video on YouTube today showing it in FSX, view it here. :)

Hey.. Great little airplane.. both in real life and (from what i can see here) in Fs too... Are you going to be releasing It for testing anytime soon as i can not wait to fly this beautiful aircraft..??

Hi!

It will be released (!) but not in a beta version. The first version, which is compiled for FS2004, working in FSX, will serve as a testbed for future enhancements. Further versions will be released compiled with the FSX gamepack. I think. ;)

Oh, and, as usual, thanks for the praise! :)

Ok thanks, do you have any idea on when the awesome work of art ( which im sure you have all worked hard on) will be released..?? I would really like to fly her in flight sim before i do in real life. thanks Master pilot : )

Wow, this looks great!

I'm learning to fly the microlight version of this at the moment and have been looking for a virtual one to practice with for ages - really looking forward to giving the finished article a spin over virtual Oxfordshire!

FYI - the school I'm training with flies these exclusively: http://www.flycb.com/. There's a nice picture of the cockpit to be found there, too: http://www.flycb.com/ev97eurostar.html

Are you planning to release a 'paint kit' with your first version? It would be nice to have an opportunity to create the same paint job as the aircraft I fly most often (Alpha Charlie). It's a long time since I 'lifted the bonnet' of an aircraft in a sim to customise it (CFS1 & 2 days!), but unless things have changed a very great deal, the textures are still just essentially bitmaps, I think - of course, I may just be demonstrating my ignorance here... ;)

Best of luck with your project anyway - if there's anything I can do to help during the flight testing stage, let me know. I have around 25 hours in the real one now - not much, perhaps, but I do know how she feels in the air - do you fly one yourself?

All the best and once again, excellent work!

Hi Pads!

Again, thanks for the praise. Funny, I have looked at your pics already and even used one of them as a comparison to my own model in another dev forum.

There will be some sort of paintkit so everyone can customize the livery. I think that there are as many varieties of the livery as there are aircrafts. We´ll only be releasing the "original" UH-O507 and my own rather basic SE-VAR, the rest is "up to you". :)
