• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.

we will see. far way to go :D

Yesterday I also started the old bolivar simon terminal complex at guayaquil airport but there arent lots of pics :D

Actually I dont got any process. I need to write lots of exams, so I dont got time for developing, but next week I will start to go on. I will post, if there is anything to show you ;)

Got some news for you guys.
First we are still working on this project ;) It is just slowed down a bit

So first an overview of all modeled buildings so far:

Just a small update after my last post (added one more hangar and started on an other and the old Bolivar Intl. terminal complex)

After this I need to tell you, that Ready4Takeoff doesnt longer work on this project, because we dont get enough time together, to procede.
But I got a great Information for you too. Dave Hoeffgen and me will continue working on Guayaquil Intl Airport in nearer future.

We got some very early pics for you, made form dave's groundpoly work at the airport

We hope you enjoy them.

We will keep you informed, as there is any process, we will show you here ;)

Just wanted to inform you that I started the work on the buildings again. Today I finished 2 more of them, so there arent a lot to do anymore. But it still need some time.
I will show u, if we got something for you ;)

Small update. Just difficult work for now. Need to add these fence around this area. Not finished completly, but looking good so far. After that I need to model the buildings behind it. That will be awful cause I dont got an idea how they look because of the fence :D

Some updates. Had a bit of time over the week, so that I started to close the holes. Process is going well. Just some pics from the actual development. Dave and me also got some conversation and we dicided to build some nice features into this airport. We will show you later.

Hope you enjoy them ;)

Got something new for you.

I started to model some important major buildings of Guayaquil. The next pic will show you, what we I did and what we are planned for now.

Explanation: The white circle is pic 1, the black one is pic 2 and the red one is pic3.
I just want to show you, where these buildings are located depending on the airport.

Last but not least the blue areas are these areas where we will add major buildings too. the lower one the city center with lots of high buildings.

Hope you like the small updates. If not, please tell it to me and I just will show you pics of major updates.

where can I find a good 3D Grass/grass patch model? I've seen the 2D transparencies but I'd prefere a solid mdoel.

Some more spam from me ;) Got a lot of work done. The buildings on the first 3 pics are done. Added some deatils and recreated all of them, cause I noticed, that the werend correct. Now the are. I also closed here a "building-hole". Now all hangars were built in this area. You also can see some pavement bridges. Creating those were difficult.

Now we are moving to the area in front of the terminal. Dave and I decided to model a more or less big area around the airport, with all the important buildings, that you can see while approaching or departing.
So I started near the terminal where lots of car dealers located. Just some buildings between the terminal and the bus-terminal (right side of the airport-terminal) still missing.

Last but not least a closeup to a bridge, near the mainentrance of the terminal. Check it out on Google Streetview. The model needs to get some textures to look like the real, but its nice so far ;)

Nice work.
I think you will find it more challenging when you do the texture and apply to all the model you have here.
