• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Some times you just "doodle" around a bit

I thought it was a dark energy flashlight.

Not a bad guess, not a bad guess at all!
I'm really enjoying this a bit too much tbh... gotta buy me that book!

That's not a bad start mate! You got the shape very nice!

My friends consider me a fool because I instantly recognise many airplane parts/shapes/sounds. Meh. And they all do bachelor Aeronautical Engineering! :duck:

You know, earlier this year I decided to convert my ever-continuing interest for Tupolev bombers into a model of the Tu-22M3. Man, how difficult is that nose! At least I didn't get it right!

Thanks! What I used was the convex shape at the nose cone, I assumed it would be 100% convex, though that probably is not entirely true it worked out pretty well I guess...

TU-22M3 is more difficult because first off all the nose seems stranger then that of for example the Tornado. Secondly im not sure the TU-22M3 has a nice part to make a convex shape to stary with...

Mmh , is that a Panavia Tornado ?

EDIT : Already said in page 2 !!

You are not only to do many Project at the same Time just for change , Check out My "Work in progress" list :D http://alexandnicosimulation.blog4ever.com/articles/scenes

Yes it is, or rather it should be. I've worked on it for a few hours just for fun... got a few pictures out and did what i could but some important details are missing, mainly the "cheeks" are off

It isn't what the real thing looks like but I like it :p

Hi!

The Tornado looks really well my friend; I never mastered the technique you used to marry the fuselage with the canopy.
On the other hand, I like the Man KAT and one of the most interesting parts to model would be the tire pattern.

Greetings and keep up the good work; even if it is a warming match with blender!
Sergio.

Thanks Sergio!

I gave the technique a swirl after I did some internal brainstorming, it was fun but I don't know I'd be able to pull it of on other aircraft... I'd teach you but I'm like the worst teacher in the world :rotfl:
The tire of an HMORT... interesting... giving it a go!
But what I really feel like doing, still, is the Typhoon! I love that thing :) But due to its very design it's very hard... I'll probably give that a try aswell though, get some new information, some new thoughts, do some more brainstorming... who knows what will happen!

Thanks Sergio for the lovely words and as always your lovely enthiousiasm! Thanks my friend!

Im just unable to finish it :) (Wanted to do it pilotable for FSX/P3D (More for P3D and drive it on the roads :) )

Hi Marc

Im just unable to finish it :) (Wanted to do it pilotable for FSX/P3D (More for P3D and drive it on the roads :) )

You are almost there! A few more tweaks, add textures and voila! You have an excellent model to have in your favorite airports. :D

Hello friends

Marc, I have never done a ground vehicle and I have no clue on how to make it driveable either. Thanks anyway.

Regards,
Sergio.
