• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Sukhoi Su26MX for FSX

I have made the avionics today: Garmin GNS 430, Garmin GMA 340, Becker AR 4201 and (probably, I am not sure because I could not find an similar transponder as the one on my photo's) the Funkwerk TRT800.

Another update: made the cowl-flap control and the canopy. Starts to look like an aircraft now :D

Cockpit4.jpg

The cockpit from the outside. I also remade the Aspen EDF 1000. I made it, as the Garmins, as a new model and placed it then in my cockpit. The brown handle is for the cowl-flaps.

Close-up of the canopy opening system. I still have to make a gas spring, which will be placed just behind the headrest on the left side (on the image on the right:confused:)

And the complete aircraft:

Hope you guys like it.

Hello

Danny, I have only one word for you and your work: AWESOME!!!
Fantastic details you've modeled. :D:D:D

Keep it up!!!
Sergio.

That looks amazing. Nice aircraft to model too. I saw one of these doing an aerobatic display at the Avalon Airshow and it is amazing in the air.

Cheers,

Looks beautifull! I remember this being a very nimble aircraft, after seeing one race a man with a wingsuit :) can't wait to see more Daniël, good work!

Guys, can you help me?
I was taking a break from the modeling and started to read some tutorials for XML coding and I found the pilots guide for the Aspen Evolution. But they say the following in the guide:

Does this mean that I have to ask the manufactor for permission to make 'my' software for FSX?

Okay, thanks. Then I'll send an e-mail soon, and just hope they don't care. Otherwise, I have to make an aerobatic sequence and place it in the paperholder.

Made some kind of seat yesterday. Not sure if I'll leave it this way, but for now I think it's okay ;)

Btw, it has 2 pillows on it, a green one and the yellow one

Or do a GPS unit that roughly looks like the real deal but doesn't use any real brands.

Okay, we'll see. If they give permission, I'll do it as real as it gets ;) Otherwise, just an anonymous one.

A small update (even though it took most of my day ):
Started with painting the instruments a bit.

Hi guys,

is there anybody who understands Russian? I've got a photo from the manifold pressure indicator with a Russian word, but I can't find the same text in Russian on the internet. Therefore, I can't put this text on my texture :(
The one on the right of the square screen

I've got the Russian words for airspeed (actually, they do only 'speed') and revolutions, but 'manifold' or 'pressure' don't give the right translation.

Cheers,
Daniël

I personally have no idea but I know google translate let's you both write letters and select text from an image on mobile devices. ;) If you can't figure it out I'll give it a try tomorrow ;)

You already have the text on your computer.
Start your paint program
In Windows change your language to Russian.
Open your onscreen keyboard and the keys will be displayed in Russian.
Type your text on your texture sheet and it will be in Russian.
At least that's the way I do it.
